This blog is brand new, but as my radio cohort might say, this ain't my first rodeo.This blog is for NY-21 Dems, Libs and Progs (of which I consider myself all three),
but is open to all political stripes interested in the political interests of the District.
That said, what we look to accomplish here is organize the Dem party here in NY-21
as well as every congressional district from sea to shining sea. And by "we" I mean me.
So far. I'm hoping that changes and changes soon. And, that said, this ditty (below) was
posted by yours truly over on Daily Kos....
So, you wanna be a Community Organizer. A GOTV kind of guy or gal.
You're in the right Diary! (as much as I suck at writing them) 2014 is
now Open for Biz! If you're a member of Drinking Liberally, the Coffee
Party or another of a dozen such activist orgs, great! Keep doing what
you're doing! All of those efforts make a difference! We're just
offering one more to add to your bag of tricks. One that we think will
not only make a difference but very likely be the difference maker in
winning us some elections!
Now, some on here will know I've been all about this for at least 2, 3 years now, with efforts such as this one at Herding Cats. What makes this new effort different? This guy.
AnotherMassachusettsLiberal. What makes him so special? Well, I'm sure there are dozens of things, but the one pertaining to 2014, 2016, 2018 and well beyond is his software. What makes this effort different than my other efforts is AML (AnotherMassLib) and his software.

(what we're about is) getting down to the business of organizing your Congressional district right down to the street corner. District / County / Town / Precinct / Neighborhood / Street Corner.
That's where AML's software comes in to help us do that. It is the difference maker.
It is the magic we've needed to accomplish this party organizing thing (for decades).
